Moving Madison Heights path forward through stronger small business development initiatives, public safety and improved services to seniors and families. These are the essential keys to building a stronger city, so "Use Your Vote,  Change Is Possible."

Through effective communication with citizens and local businesses, a mayor can support and develop a flourishing city. If I'm blessed enough to be elected, I plan on listening, understanding, and working towards services and programs that are beneficial to our citizens and local businesses.  I look forward to working with other members elected to the council and building trusting relationships.

 

Business Development- Small Business Growth

With a background and experience in business, education, and public service, my goal, if elected by the citizens of this wonderful city,  is to work diligently towards increasing economic opportunities in order to promote the growth of small businesses. Creating greater access to loans and grants for small businesses establishments, improvement projects and ownerships through local banks, organizations, foundations and/or  companies are key. Providing informations available through workshops, seminars, publications, and other means would be wonderful as well. Most importantly, I look forward to working with local businesses in expanding jobs and educational opportunities for our city's youths and residents.

 

Community Participation

Family-Friendly Community Center, Beautification and Creating of a Downtown Madison Heights

I plan on working and expanding current programs toward the beautification and creation of a Downtown Madison Hts., establishing a family-friendly community center outside of the city’s current senior center, while still providing more services and improvements to our senior center. Also, I would like to expand on programs available in helping seniors remain in their homes and/or improve their living environments.

Expanding and Improving Public Safety Services

The success of every city is based on it's public safety services. I plan on working to make sure that our police and EMS services are properly equipped and effective in providing adequate and/or better services to our citizens and businesses within the community. This process would lead towards a strong city with an even stronger future. It is my goal to work towards assuring that current services are adequate, where things like installing effective signs, speed bumps, and street lights, all where applicable around the city, are done. Shaping the future of Madison Heights through stronger, more effective public safety is one of the most important factors in keeping families and businesses here, while still attracting others to our city.
